Now that the Field Units are assembled, and they can be managed through the Portal, the time has come to test this system "in the real world": until recently, most tests have been performed from small-office/home-office (SOHO) sites, in which case the "health" of the connection to information systems is mainly dependent on the behavior of the Internet - even though the system was designed to investigate and monitor complex, multi-site office networks. This is why we are now looking for partners with (access to) more complex networks, to gain experience with the system and the various methods of investigating such networks.
Would you be willing to help us? Then please sign up for the TiNC Works! Alpha Program:
What's in it for me?
As a member of the TiNC Works! Alpha Program you will receive TANC Field Units on loan, for a limited period of time to check out the system - to determine if it is a good fit for your company, whether the metrics bring value and insight, and which features you may require to make the system more useful for your company. This Alpha period will bring you unique insights into the health of your company network, as well as objective advice to alleviate any health issues that may have come to light.
You will receive one or two units on loan, for a period of approx. two weeks;
A TiNC Works! representative (quite possibly the Founder) will visit you or your network manager (within the Netherlands) to discuss the optimal placement of the unit(s) on your network, as well as initial configuration of measurement tests to be performed by these units;
International/multinational parties are also invited, but most personal interaction will have to be done through Skype to keep this program efficient and affordable (for all of us);
You will get access to the system, for example to create additional measurement tests or network diagnostics, or to view and download the recorded data;
After the first week you will receive an initial report on the health of your network, based on the recorded data; this opens the opportunity to make some adjustments in the configuration;
After the second week you will receive a final report. By then we expect the units to be returned to us;
At the end of this program, your data will be wiped from the system if you require.
What's in it for TNW?
This program of "real world testing" is very important to the continued development of TiNC Works! Your participation is of crucial value, and your "investments" are limited: deploying a Field Unit is Plug-and-Play once the optimal placement is determined by the specialists; configuring measurements and tests is easy and intuitive; the reports are simple and easy to interpret. Your help consists mainly in the opportunity to collect data from networks with real bottlenecks which may be triggered and overloaded at certain times during the day or week - such that the TiNC Works! system may find them and display them. Beyond this we're obviously also looking for your experiences using the system, the user-friendliness of the Portal, and the value of the available insights to your company. An of course we're also hoping you will want to continue using the system after the official release later this year - in which case you can count on an attractive rebate and/or reduced usage rates!
When will this take place?
The first 10 Field Units were completed early June 2017, ready for deployment in this program. First we will address our partners which which we've made prior arrangements, so "open" alpha members will probably be activated late June, early July. A single round of Alpha testing takes about 2 weeks to complete.
Yes, I do! I want to join the program!
Undoubtedly after reading this offer you will want to join: send us a message on firstname.lastname@example.org We will contact you to make further arrangements - for visit(s) as well as deployment of the unit(s).
